When you enter new territory the rules are changing.
The routines in which you find normality, are set out of order and must be redefined.
You change your address, your language, the way you make coffee,
your idea of distance, you inner moods, the places you shop, the way you meet strangers, your morning routine, the streets you pass everyday, your habits of dressing,
the people you know, ect.
In the gab between your old reality and the new unfamiliar pattern,
the unimportant and the detail is the often the ones noticed.
Maybe because they are the ones who still seems somehow comprehensible.
Immigrant/terrain/home is reflection on the everyday “abstractions” that occurs when you enter new spaces and navigates in unfamiliar terrain of inner and outer landscapes.
